Captura Hooklink... What a material this is!
Captura was designed to help take the hard work out of creating certain rigs, especially combi rigs and whilst a true fluorocarbon to braid combi rig still has it's place Captura certainly offers a solid alternative.
It's made up of a premium camouflaged braid which envelopes the fluorocarbon core, its this core which helps it to sink very quickly and gives your rigs a "semi stiff" quality..Stiff enough to reset but soft enough to fish over obstructions very well.
The outer braid its self consists of Dyneema and polyester fibres. They work together to create a very strong and robust braid with great abrasion resistance, this also creates a huge breaking strain for the diameter.
In a nut shell it's, strong, stealthy, sinks like a brick and is a dream to work with.
